Instead of dissolving immediately, these beads utilize a stiff, hydrophilic (water-loving) polymer matrix. When introduced to an aqueous formulation (like a face wash, body gel, or oral gel), the beads absorb water molecules and swell, transforming into soft, stable, and visually captivating cushions suspended perfectly within the formula. The trapped active molecules cannot physically diffuse out until water enters to swell the bead, ensuring maximum preservation of sensitive ingredients.
